On 23rd June 2019, the Dean of the Cathedral, Fr Don Richardson, will join us for a special Sunday-afternoon talk in and about the Crypt. The Crypt of St Mary’s Cathedral is well known for its striking design, unlike anything else in the Cathedral. Probably the most impressive feature of the Crypt is its multi-coloured terrazzo floor, quite unlike anything else in the Cathedral.
The talk will be held at 3pm on Sunday 23rd June 2019 in the Crypt, and will involve walking around the interior of the Crypt. Please meet in the Crypt cloister, down the steps opposite the formal entrance to Cathedral House. The tour of the Crypt will take about an hour, and will be followed by some refreshments, followed by the opportunity to go up into the Cathedral for solemn Choral Vespers and Benediction at 5pm. Tickets are $10 for members ($15 for non-members).
Special reduced-price tickets are available for Members who buy online: if you are a member and cannot see the Members’ price of $10 each, then you will need to log in. If you do not have a password, please send an email to email@example.com, and we will happily send you one. Please book in advance if you can: some tickets might be available on the afternoon.
