    The Friends’ Trivia Night

Come and test your knowledge in our famous Trivia Night. The quiz will have something for everyone, including those who say they don't like trivia nights! (No, the questions aren't all religious…) Supper is included, so it's an easy night out for some trivia, and to meet old friends and make some new ones too.

The quiz will take place in the Cathedral College’s hall: entry is from the Cathedral House car-park, just next to the lower gate.

You can either come with a team, or else join a team on the night. Please limit teams to eight people or fewer. If you want to bring more people, why not form several teams?

    Food and drinks

Dinner will be served during the evening. BYO drinks. Please, no glassware: drinking vessels will be provided. If you or anyone in your party has any specific dietary requirements, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.

    All welcome!

As well as an opportunity to show off your trivial knowledge (or lack: it doesn’t matter!), the evening will be a lot of fun. All are welcome, including people who aren’t members of the Friends of St Mary’s Cathedral. Come along with some friends, or make some new ones on the night!

    Special offer

Anyone aged 25 or under who buys a ticket to the Trivia Night is entitled to a free year’s membership of the Friends of St Mary’s Cathedral. Just tick the box when buying tickets to say that you meet the age requirement, and we'll confirm your details on the night.

St PatrickThe Friends’ annual St Patrick’s Day luncheon will be held in Cathedral House, by kind invitation of the Dean of the Cathedral, Fr Don Richardson.

We are honoured to have as our guest speaker Mr Anthony Cleary, the Director of Religious Education and Evangelization at Sydney Catholic Schools. Coming from an Irish background, Mr Cleary is well placed to talk about Irish Catholics in Australia, as well as using his professional and academic background to speak about the evangelization of young people, especially through the medium of the World Youth Days, which were instituted by Pope John Paul II.

Come along and spend time in the delightful surroundings of Cathedral House among like-minded Friends. Tickets include a gourmet three-course lunch and all drinks. Come along and enjoy stimulating conversation and a streamlined raffle: all to support the important work of the Friends of the Cathedral.

You can buy as many tickets as you need here: enter the number of guests, not including the person registering, in the guests field. Please register by 11th March 2019 to ensure your place.
